Landskab #8 er på gaden

Et dynamisk felt af udøvere og et bredt spektrum af forskellige typer landskaber folder sig ud i årets sidste nummer. Redaktør Christina Capetillo, stiller skarpt på de vidt forskellige typer af landskaber. Hvad enten det er det spontane, det omsorgsfulde landskab som i Bispebjergs Helende Haver, det skulpturelle landskab som Karens Minde Aksen, det forhindrende landskab som The Social Spine, eller det hændelsesfulde landskab som H.C. Andersens Have, så besidder de alle unikke kvaliteter, der har gjort dem bemærket i dette års Dansk Landskabspris 2023

Kunstneren Crystal Bennes arkæobotaniske detektivarbejde førte hende på sporet af herbarieark, der, som en anden tidsmaskine, gjorde det muligt at rekonstruere en spontan spiring på pladsen foran museet i 1840’erne.”

The eighth and last issue of this years magazine Landskab is out

A dynamic field of practitioners and a broad spectrum of different types of landscapes unfold in the final issue of the year. Editor Christina Capetillo focuses sharply on the widely different types of landscapes. Whether it is the spontaneous landscape, the caring landscape as in Bispebjerg’s Helende Haver, the sculptural landscape like Karen’s Minde Aksen, the obstructive landscape such as The Social Spine, or the eventful landscape like H.C. Andersen’s Have, they all possess unique qualities that have made them noteworthy in this year’s Danish Landscape Award 2023

“A dynamic field of practitioners and a wide spectrum of different types of landscapes are portrayed in this, the final issue of the year: The spontaneous landscape – like the temporary meadow with wild herbs around Thorvaldsen’s grave in Bindesbøll’s iconic museum architecture. Artist Crystal Bennes’s archaeobotanical detective work led her on the trail of herbarium sheets that, like a veritable time machine, made it possible to reconstruct the spontaneous germination that occurred on the square in front of the museum in the 1840s.”
